Challenge As part of the global VINCI Airports network, Belgrade Airport faced a challenge in establishing a strong and effective digital presence. While being an integral part of a powerful international corporation, the airport also needed to highlight its unique character, advantages, and passenger benefits. A key challenge was ensuring that all available services, new technologies, and passenger conveniences were clearly communicated through social media and digital channels. Without a clear strategy, passengers lacked essential information about improvements, travel benefits, and airport services, leading to a gap in user engagement and brand recognition. In addition to digital communication, the existing mobile application was outdated and lacked functionality, making it difficult for passengers to get real-time flight updates, explore services, or navigate the airport with ease.

To position Belgrade Airport as both a leading regional airport and a key player within VINCI Airports, a tailored digital strategy was developed with two main pillars: a comprehensive social media strategy and a redesigned mobile application.
The goal was to create a seamless and passenger-focused digital experience that included:
• A clear and consistent visual and communication identity, aligned with VINCI's corporate standards while maintaining a distinct local touch.
• Structured and engaging content categories across social media, highlighting passenger benefits, airport services, innovations, and travel tips.
• Interactive campaigns aimed at increasing engagement and brand recognition.
• A completely rebuilt mobile app — more intuitive, functional, and informative.
• Real-time flight tracking, allowing passengers to “follow” a specific flight and receive push notifications about delays, gate changes, or boarding updates.
• A full overview of all airport services and benefits, with clear navigation, useful tips, and real-time updates — all designed to make the passenger experience more effortless and enjoyable.
By implementing a comprehensive digital communication strategy and redesigning the mobile app from the ground up, we aligned Belgrade Airport's digital ecosystem with VINCI’s global identity — while emphasizing local relevance and user-centric features.
The impact includes:
